At the Meet & Read & Talk for levels A2 and B1, you will read German texts with a German native. In the process, you will improve your vocabulary as well as your reading and listening comprehension. You will get lots of grammar and vocabulary explanations. The text we read is suited for learners of the German language.
We read aloud and listen to each other and we watch and listen to the movie the text is taken from. This way, everyone learns how to pronounce words and phrases correctly. Although this description is in English, we only speak German during our meetups!
At 19:30 we will introduce the most important vocabulary, and at 20:00 we will start the film. We will keep talking about what we have seen and answer your questions.

German Brunch Bunch – a classic
At the German Brunch Bunch we regularly have breakfast together, chat and play conversational games. German natives will also be there, to help you out, or even correct you, if you wish. You will improve your vocabulary, your listening comprehension as well as your ability to speak German. Advanced German learners additionally have the possibility to read journalistic reports from one of Germany’s most popular newspapers, like “Die Zeit” or “Süddeutsche Zeitung”.
We provide TEA and COFFEE and some food for free, as well as dishes and cutlery etc. Please bring something to eat for the breakfast buffet, and please vegetarian if possible!

The German school Edeltraud offers you many possibilities to practice speaking German in daily life situations.
Come with us on an international bar tour at Bahnwärtehr Thiel Munich!
We practice German Conversation and get to know one of the coolest and most unusual spots in Munich in the process.
At Bahnwärter Thiel you will find many fancy bars and alternative cafes build in old train coaches, next to small studios and stores.
We will have a stroll at Munich`s east side gallery first then go to the Bahnwärter Thiel area and move on to 2 other placxes from there. Thereby you get to know great new people, practice speaking German and enjoy the beginning of summer in Munich.

Kegeln – German bowling (skittle)
We want to play an ancient, very entertaining German game together on Saturday afternoon. Bowling is a game to have fun, it is exciting and versatile and has fun rules. It is especially important that you bring extra sports shoes only for the lane (please do not use street shoes!). Meeting point is the Cafe Westend (Ganghoferstr. 50, U-Bahn 4 or 5, station Schwanthalerhöhe). We rented 2 skittle alleys for 2 hours. Afterwards we can have a snack in the cafe.
Important request to you, sign off if you cannot come, then the next ones will move up, thank you very much.
Charge for this event is 6 Euro incl. Skittles lane rental.
